Phone and email verification

Verifying your mobile phone by SMS code and your email by emailed code; changing your number, the "registered on another account" warning and foreign numbers.

To show that your account belongs to you, you verify your mobile phone and (if you have one) your email with a code. A number or email can be used by one company only, so nobody else can open an account with your number.

How do I verify?

  1. In the Me tab, tap Phone and email under My contact details. If verification is mandatory, the app shows this screen by itself when it opens.
  2. On the Mobile phone row, tap Send code. A 6-digit code arrives on your number by SMS.
  3. Type the code into the 6-digit code box. Your phone may suggest the code from the SMS. When 6 digits are entered, the code is verified.
  4. Your phone is verified appears. If you have an email, verify it the same way with the code sent to your inbox.

Changing my number or email

  1. On the Phone and email screen, tap Change on the relevant row (Add if you have no email).
  2. Fill in New mobile phone or New email; the code goes to the new value.
  3. Enter the code. The new value is saved to your account when the code is verified.

The "registered on another account" warning

This warning means the number or email is registered on an account in another company. Which company is not shown.

  1. Check that you typed the number correctly.
  2. If your account at your old company is still open, send a leave request there with Leave company in the app and wait for the company to approve it, or ask your old company to close your record. Details: Leaving the company.
  3. If the number is on an old, unverified account that has not been used for a long time, the number moves to your new account when you verify the code.
  4. Otherwise, contact your company administrator.
