Working offline

How Picked up and Delivered steps are saved on the phone without signal, sent when you are back online, and the warnings on screen.

You can keep working without signal. The app saves your steps on the phone and sends them in order once you are back online.

What happens without a connection?

Tap Picked up, Outbound delivered or Delivered as usual.
The bottom of the screen shows No connection: saved on the phone, it will be sent when you're back online.
The job moves to its new status right away. The step is saved with the time you tapped.
The receiver's name and signature are saved with the step.

Offline — list as of HH:MM: The My jobs list is the last copy on the phone. A newly assigned job may not show yet.
N steps waiting to be sent: Number of saved steps. Tap Send now to try right away.
Cloud icon and Waiting to be sent: That job's step has not been sent yet.
N steps couldn't be saved on the server (red): The server rejected the step. Tap View, check the list and tell dispatch. Then tap Reported, remove from list.

When the connection is back, the app sends the steps by itself, in order. It also tries again when you open the app.

Add photo needs a connection. Add the photo when you have signal.
The server does not accept a waiting step older than 24 hours. Send it as soon as you find a connection.
If the job was given to another courier in the meantime, your step is rejected and a red warning appears.
While on shift, your location is also stored on the phone and sent when you are back online.
Signing out does not delete waiting steps; they are sent when you sign in with the same account.

Warning: While steps are waiting, do not uninstall the app, clear the phone's app data or switch phones. Saved steps exist only on that phone.

The warning does not go away: Turn on your internet and tap Send now.
A red warning appeared: If you really made the delivery, tell dispatch right away; the record is corrected manually.
My new job is missing: The list is an old copy. It refreshes when you are back online.
