Notification log
Following SMS, WhatsApp, email, push, Slack/Teams and webhook messages sent, resending failed ones and sending a single SMS.
Every message the system sends is listed on Administration › Notification log: SMS and emails to customers, notifications (push) to couriers, Slack/Teams messages and webhook requests. When a customer says "I didn't get the SMS", this is the first place to look.
Reading the list
Each row shows:
- Time and Event: why the message was sent (e.g. Delivered, Manual SMS, Message to courier, Document email). Messages tied to an order have a link to the order.
- Automatic courier notifications show their type (e.g. Courier: vehicle service, Courier: leave decision, Courier: earnings payment). When the courier taps one, the app opens the related screen. Every notification sent to a courier also stays for 30 days in the courier app's My notifications list, so the courier can see a missed message there.
- Channel and Recipient: phone number, email address; for an app notification (Push), the name of the courier or app account (customer, staff).
- Message: the SMS text; for email, the subject and the attachment name if any. Errors are shown in red.
- Status: Queued, Will retry, Sent or Failed. If there were several attempts, the number of attempts is shown.
- WhatsApp rows also show a Delivered (the message reached the phone) or Read (the recipient opened it) badge. Falls back to SMS if undelivered means that if the message does not reach the recipient on WhatsApp, the same text is sent as SMS; a failed WhatsApp row then says Sent as SMS and the SMS to the same recipient appears as a separate row. Details: WhatsApp notifications.
Filter with the All channels and All statuses lists at the top.
Resending a failed message
For temporary errors (such as the provider being unreachable), the system retries automatically for about an hour. If the attempts don't succeed or the error is permanent (wrong number, wrong account details and so on), the message becomes Failed.
- Fix the cause (e.g. top up your SMS balance or correct your account details).
- Press Resend on the row.
Sending a single SMS
- Press Send SMS at the top of the page.
- Enter Mobile phone and Message (up to 612 characters).
- Press Send. The message is queued; follow the result in this list.
Good to know
- Which messages go to whom on which event is set in Notification settings.
- Summary counts for broadcasts are on Bulk messages; individual messages appear here.
- "Sent" means the provider accepted the message; for SMS, delivery reports from the operator are not shown yet. For WhatsApp, delivered and read information is shown.
- Records are deleted automatically after a while (180 days by default).
Having trouble?
- No records appear at all: The channel may be Off, the event template may be off, or the customer's notification permission is off.
- It says the quota is full: The platform account's monthly limit has been reached. Set up your own SMS or email account.
- There is no Notification log menu: This page is only open to company owners.
