Getting started

Installing the Courino app, first sign-in, setting a new password and the permissions the app asks for.

You get your jobs in the Courino mobile app. This page covers the first sign-in and permissions.

Step by step

1. Install Courino from Google Play. The iPhone (iOS) version is coming soon to the App Store.
2. Open the app. The Sign in screen appears.
3. In Mobile number or e-mail, enter the mobile number you gave your company.
4. In Password, enter the temporary password your company gave you and tap Sign in. You are not asked for a company code.
5. If your number is registered with more than one company, a list opens. Tap the Courier account row of the company you work for.
6. On first sign-in you see Set a new password before you continue. Enter the temporary password in Current password, your own password in New password and New password (again), then tap Save. It must be at least 10 characters.

Permissions

• Notifications: Asked at sign-in. New jobs, cancellations and jobs taken from you arrive as notifications. Allow them.
• Location: Asked when your shift opens. "While using the app" is enough; you do not need "Allow all the time". On shift, the app also sends your location in the background; a persistent notification in the status bar shows this.
• Camera: The phone's camera opens when you take a delivery photo.

If you refuse location, you can still do your jobs. But dispatch cannot see you on the map.

Having trouble?

• Forgot your password: On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password and enter your mobile number. Open the link you receive and set a new password. If no link arrives, call your company; they give you a temporary password.
• Cannot sign in: Enter the number exactly as you gave it to the company. After too many attempts the account locks for a while; wait 15 minutes.
• Your company gave you a username: Tap Sign in with company code and username, enter the company code first, then your username.
• No courier account yet: Tap I want to become a courier; see Courier application.
