Photo proof
Require photos from the courier at pickup and delivery; the time and place each photo was taken, showing the delivery photo on the customer's tracking page, and privacy (KVKK).
Photo proof shows that the package was really picked up and delivered. There are three settings; all three are off by default.
- Photo required at pickup: The courier cannot tap Picked up without taking a photo of the package.
- Photo required at delivery: The courier cannot tap Delivered without taking a delivery photo.
- Show proof of delivery on the tracking page: The customer sees the delivery photo and the shortened name of the person who received it on the tracking link.
Turning on required photos
- Go to the Couriers page.
- Click the Courier settings button at the top.
- In the Photo proof section, turn on what you need:
- Photo required at pickup
- Photo required at delivery
- Click Save.
The setting applies immediately; the courier app follows the new rule at the next step.
Good to know:
- The photo must be taken after that courier took the job. A previous courier's photo does not count.
- If the courier delivers without tapping Picked up first, the delivery photo also counts as the pickup photo.
- For round trips, the delivery photo is required at the outbound delivery.
- Steps done from the panel (by staff) are exempt. If the courier cannot take a photo, you can do the step from the panel.
- Without a photo, the courier sees a "pickup photo required" or "delivery photo required" warning in the app.
Time and location stamp
Each photo the courier takes is stamped with the time and place it was taken. You see this on the order page:
- Open the order from Orders.
- Scroll to the Photos card.
- Under each photo you see:
- Taken: the date and time the photo was taken.
- Location: latitude, longitude and accuracy (e.g. 41.01234, 28.97654 ±12 m). Click the location to open the map.
- Click a photo to open it large; the stamp is shown there too.
Good to know:
- If the time taken is unknown (uploaded from the panel or from an older app), Uploaded: and the time it reached the server is shown.
- The location is what the courier's phone reported. If the phone's location is off, no location is shown.
- A large accuracy value (e.g. ±300 m) means the location is approximate; GPS can be weak indoors.
- A photo taken while the courier is offline still shows the correct time taken; it uploads when the connection comes back.
Proof of delivery on the tracking page
When this setting is on, the tracking page of a delivered order (the link sent to the customer by SMS/e-mail) shows a Proof of delivery section:
- The shortened name of the person who received it (e.g. Ahmet Y.).
- Delivery photos (up to 3) and the time taken. Click a photo to enlarge it.
To turn it on:
- Open Couriers › Courier settings.
- Turn on Show proof of delivery on the tracking page.
- Read the KVKK (privacy) warning that appears.
- Click Save.
Important for privacy (KVKK):
- The delivery photo may show the recipient's face, home or doorstep.
- Anyone with the tracking link can see this photo.
- Before turning the setting on, add to your privacy notice that the delivery photo is shown on the tracking page.
- Ask your couriers to photograph only the package and the door where possible, not people's faces.
Good to know:
- The proof appears only after the order is delivered.
- Photo links are valid for a short time (about 15–20 minutes); if the page stays open they refresh on their own. Copying a photo link and sending it to someone does not give lasting access.
- The tracking link closes 48 hours after delivery, and the proof disappears with it.
- When you turn the setting off, the proof is removed from the tracking page at once. The photos stay on the order page.
Having trouble?
- The courier says "photo required" but took one: The photo may not have uploaded. The courier should try again when online; otherwise do the step from the panel.
- No location shown: Location permission is off on the courier's phone. The courier should allow location for the app.
- The customer cannot see the photo on tracking: Check that the setting is on, the order is delivered and a delivery photo was taken. Signatures and pickup photos are not shown on tracking.
