Users and permissions

Creating staff accounts, choosing roles, branch scope, deactivating accounts and generating temporary passwords.

Every staff member who uses the panel has their own account. You create and manage accounts on Administration › Users. Only people with the Company owner role see this page.

Roles

RoleWhat they can do
Company ownerEverything, including users and company settings
AdministratorEverything except users and company settings
OperationsOrders, assignment, customers, courier status
AccountingCharges, collections, earnings, reports

The menu only shows the pages a person's role allows. The Company owner and Administrator can open support tickets to Courino.

Creating a staff account

  1. On Administration › Users, press New staff member.
  2. Enter Full name, Email and Mobile phone. The person signs in to the panel with this email.
  3. Choose a Role.
  4. If you leave Password (optional) empty, a temporary password is generated.
  5. Press Create account. The temporary password is shown only once; use Copy and pass it on. The person sets their own password at first sign-in.

Editing an account

Click a person in the list. On the Details tab, change name, email, phone, role and status, then press Save. The History tab shows who did what to the account and when (account created, role changed, deactivated, password reset and so on).

Deactivating

Don't try to delete someone who has left; set Status to Inactive (can't sign in) and save. Their open sessions are closed at once and they can no longer sign in. To undo, choose Active again.

Resetting a password

In the person's window, press Generate temporary password… and then Reset. The new temporary password is shown once and all of the person's sessions are signed out.

Branch scope

If your company has more than one branch, a Branches section appears for staff other than owners. If Sees all branches is not ticked, the person only sees orders and couriers of the branches you tick. Pressing Save branches signs the person out; the new scope applies at their next sign-in.
