Courier earnings
How a courier's monthly bonus is calculated; bonus rate, salaried couriers, traffic fine deductions, monthly breakdown and payment calendar.
The Accounting › Courier earnings page shows, for the selected month, each courier's delivered jobs, bonus rate, fines to deduct and the net bonus payable.
Step by step
- Open Accounting › Courier earnings from the left menu.
- Pick the month in the field at the top right. The current month is shown by default.
- Each courier has Jobs, Base, Rate, Fine, Net and Payment columns. Total bonus payable: is shown at the top.
- Click the courier's name or Details. The window lists all 12 months of the year; use the arrow buttons to change the year.
- Click Details on a month to see the jobs delivered that month (number, delivery time, sender, recipient, received by, base) and any traffic fines.
How is it calculated?
- Base: the total service fee of the non-cancelled jobs the courier delivered that month. Waiting, weight, bridge and manual price adjustments are not included.
- Rate: the courier's bonus rate recorded for that month; if there is none, the courier's default rate is used.
- Fine: active traffic fines marked Deducted from earnings. A fine counts in the month it was entered in the panel, not the month of the fine date.
- Net = Base × Rate ÷ 100 − Fine.
- A courier with a rate of 0 is Salaried: no bonus is calculated, any fines show as to be deducted from salary, and they are not added to the bonus total.
Where do I change the rate and base?
- Default bonus rate (%) is on the courier's record (Couriers › courier). On the same record, the Monthly bonus rate section lets you set a different rate for a specific month.
- Traffic fines are added in the Traffic fines section of the courier record.
- Whether the base includes VAT is chosen under Settings › Payment and bonus › Courier bonus base. The grey box at the top of the page shows the current choice.
Good to know
- The calculation is done on the server; nothing is entered on this page.
- If Courier bonus base changes, all reports, including past months, are shown on the new base.
- Payment records do not change the earnings calculation; they only record when and how much you paid.
- If you have several branches, the list follows the branch selected in the top bar.
Payment calendar
When you pay a courier their earnings, you mark it on this page. That way you see at a glance who has been paid and who is still waiting.
Choosing the pay day (once):
- Open Settings › Payment and bonus.
- Enter the day of the month (1–31) in Earnings pay day. Example: with 5, September earnings are paid on 5 October.
- Click Save. If the month is shorter (e.g. 31 in February), its last day is used.
- Enter 0 to turn the calendar off; you can still mark payments, but no expected date is shown.
Marking one courier as paid:
- On Accounting › Courier earnings, pick the period (month).
- Click Mark as paid on the courier's row.
- Amount paid is prefilled with the remaining amount (net earnings − advances paid). If you made a deduction, enter the amount you actually paid.
- Payment date defaults to today; change it if needed.
- Optionally add a Note (e.g. bank transfer, cash).
- Click Mark as paid. The Payment column shows Paid · date · amount.
Marking several couriers at once:
- Tick the boxes at the start of the rows (the top box selects all unpaid couriers).
- Click Mark selected as paid.
- Enter the payment date and optionally a note, then click Mark as paid.
- Each courier is marked with their remaining amount (current net − advances). The page shows how many were marked and why any were skipped.
Reasons for skipping:
- no earnings that month — the courier had no jobs or fines that month.
- already marked as paid — a record already exists; it is not changed.
- net amount is negative — fines or advances exceed the earnings; enter the amount for this courier individually.
Correcting or undoing:
- To change the amount, date or note, click the pencil icon on the row, correct it and click Save.
- If you marked it by mistake, click Undo and confirm in the window. The period shows Pending again; advance records are not deleted.
What does the Payment column show?
- Paid · date · amount — the period is closed. Hover over it to see the note. If advances were paid too, Total with advances appears below.
- Advance · Remaining — an advance was paid; the period is not closed yet.
- Pending (date) — no record yet; the date in brackets is your pay day.
- — — no record and no pay day set.
What does the courier see?
- When the record is created for the first time, the courier gets a Hakediş ödemesi (earnings payment) notification. Example: "Eylül 2026 hakedişiniz ödendi: 1.234,56 ₺."
- If Couriers see their monthly earnings in the app is off in Couriers › Courier settings, the notification does not include the amount.
- Corrections and undo send no notification.
- The courier sees the pay day in the app's Agenda: paid periods on the day they were paid, unpaid periods on the expected day.
Good to know:
- Payment records can only be created for this month and earlier months. The payment date cannot be before the start of the period or more than 60 days after today.
- Marking needs the accounting manage permission (billing:manage); users without it only see the Payment column.
- There is one Paid record per courier per period; use Advance for partial payments during the month (see below).
- A branch manager can only mark couriers who are in their branch today.
Advances and partial payments
If you paid a courier part of their earnings mid-month, record it as an advance. At month end you only pay the rest.
Recording an advance:
- On Accounting › Courier earnings, pick the period (month). The current month can be chosen too.
- Click Advance on the courier's row.
- The window shows the net earnings, advances paid and the remaining amount.
- Enter the Advance amount, change the Payment date if needed and optionally add a Note.
- Click Save advance. The advance is added to the list and the courier gets a Hakediş avansı (earnings advance) notification.
- You can record several advances in the same period (at most 10).
Paying the rest at month end:
- Click Mark as paid on the courier's row. The amount is prefilled with the remaining amount.
- Click Mark as paid. The period is closed.
- Bulk marking and the Payment file (To pay) also use the remaining amount.
Deleting a wrong advance:
- Click Advance on the courier's row.
- Click the trash icon next to the advance and confirm. The courier is not notified.
Good to know:
- Advances do not change the earnings calculation; remaining = net earnings − advances paid.
- After the period is marked Paid, no advance can be added. To add one, first remove the record with Undo.
- If advances exceed the net earnings, the remaining amount shows 0.
- The courier sees the advance in the app's Agenda on the day it was paid.
- Advances need the accounting manage permission (billing:manage).
Bank payment file
If you pay earnings through your bank's bulk transfer screen, you don't need to type the recipient list. This page prepares a CSV file you can upload.
First (once): enter the couriers' IBANs
- Open the courier on the Couriers page.
- Type the IBAN in the Earnings payout account section (with or without spaces, starting with TR).
- If the account is not in the courier's own name, type the Account holder. If you leave it empty, the courier's name goes into the file.
- Press Save. An invalid IBAN is not saved; an error is shown.
Downloading the file:
- On Accounting › Courier earnings, choose the month.
- Press Payment file at the top of the page.
- Choose which payments you want: To pay (couriers not marked as paid; the amount is the remaining amount, i.e. current net − advances) or Paid (couriers with payment records; the amount is the total paid, advances included).
- If you selected couriers in the table, Only the N selected couriers limits the file to them.
- Press Download CSV. The file is saved to your computer.
- Upload the file to your bank's bulk payment screen. If needed, reorder the columns in Excel the way your bank wants.
- After paying, mark the couriers with Mark selected as paid.
What is in the file?
- Columns: Recipient name, IBAN, Amount, Description, Courier code.
- Amounts use a decimal comma without thousands separators (e.g. 1234,50) in Turkish; English uses a decimal point.
- The description reads "Eylül 2026 hakedişi" (in Turkish, since it goes to a Turkish bank).
Good to know:
- Couriers without an IBAN are left out; the window tells you how many.
- Couriers with a zero or negative remaining amount are not in the To pay file.
- The file does not change the earnings calculation and does not pay anyone; it only prepares the list.
- The file needs the manage-accounting permission (billing:manage). Seeing the full IBAN and changing it needs the manage-couriers permission; other users see it masked.
Couriers seeing it in the app
If you turn on Couriers see their monthly earnings in the app in Couriers › Courier settings, couriers see this month's and last month's earnings under Me › My earnings in the app. The calculation is the same as this page. It is off by default.
Having trouble?
- I can't see it in the menu: the page needs accounting permission; the Operations role can't see it.
- A courier is missing: couriers with no delivered jobs or fines that month are not listed.
- A fine landed in a different month: fines count in the month they were entered.
