Courier invite
Sending a sign-up link to a courier's mobile phone, tracking invite statuses, resending and cancelling invites.
Instead of creating the courier record yourself, you can invite the courier. A sign-up link goes to the courier's mobile phone; the courier opens it and enters a password and vehicle details. An invite is valid for 7 days and can be used once.
Inviting a courier
- Open the Couriers page.
- Click Invite courier at the top right.
- Type the courier's mobile number in Mobile phone (e.g. 0532 123 45 67). This field is required; landlines are not accepted.
- Optionally type the Full name. It is pre-filled when the courier opens the sign-up form.
- If you have more than one branch, choose a Branch. If you leave it empty, the courier joins your default branch.
- Optionally write a Note. The note is internal and is not sent to the courier.
- Click Send invite.
- If the window that opens says the link was sent by SMS, you are done; the courier will open the link in the SMS.
- If it says The SMS could not be sent; pass the link to the courier yourself, click Copy and send the link to the courier by WhatsApp or another way.
Tracking invites
- On the Couriers page, click Invites. The Courier invites list opens.
- Each row shows the phone, name, status, how many times it was sent, the expiry date and who sent it.
- You can filter the list with Status or the search box.
What the statuses mean:
- Sent: The link was sent; the courier has not opened it yet.
- Opened: The courier opened the link but has not finished signing up.
- Waiting to leave another company: This number belongs to an active courier at another courier company. The courier was told to leave that company first. The other company's name is never shown to you. Once the courier leaves, they can sign up with the same link.
- Signed up: The courier completed sign-up. Click the name to open the courier record.
- Expired: No sign-up within 7 days.
- Cancelled: You cancelled the invite.
Resending and cancelling
- Find the invite's row in the Courier invites list.
- To send a new link, click Resend and confirm. The old link stops working and the 7-day period starts again.
- To withdraw the invite, click Cancel invite and confirm. The courier can no longer sign up with that link.
Good to know:
- The same invite cannot be sent more than once a minute, and a number cannot receive more than three invites in 24 hours.
- A number can have only one open invite at a time. Use Resend in the list instead of a new invite.
- You can also revive an expired invite with Resend.
- Sending and managing invites is open to people with courier management permission (owner, manager, courier manager).
What does the courier see?
When the courier opens the link, they see your company name and the sign-up form. They enter their full name, password, vehicle type, plate, optionally their Turkish ID number and email, and accept the privacy notice. After signing up they download the Courino app and sign in with their phone number and password. The courier's steps: Signing up with an invite.
Having trouble?
- "This number is registered to an active courier at your company": The courier is already with you. Search the Couriers list.
- "There is a pending invite for this number": The list has an open invite; Resend it.
- "At most 3 invites in 24 hours": Enough invites went to this number today; try again tomorrow.
- Status stays "Waiting to leave another company": Talk to the courier. They must send a leave request to their old company from the app and get it approved.
- The courier did not get the SMS: Check the number and click Resend if needed. If the SMS still fails, copy the link shown and send it yourself.
