Subscription fee and card

Packages by active courier count, monthly / yearly billing, upgrading (prorated difference) and downgrading, TRY + VAT or USD, agreement acceptance, 7-day trial, paying the fee by card with Pay the fee (3D Secure, the card is not stored), the no-refund consent, reminder e-mails, being overdue, the passive account and payment history.

The subscription fee is what the platform charges your company for using Courino. The amount depends on your package: packages differ only by the number of active couriers in your account, and every package includes all features. The platform may apply a custom amount and courier limit to some companies or exempt a company from the fee (this section is not shown to exempt companies). The fee is always paid through the platform's payment account, regardless of how you collect payments from your customers. Only the account that manages company settings (the company owner) sees this screen.

Packages

Passive couriers are not counted; only couriers that are active at the same time count towards the package.

Current prices are shown on the Settings › Subscription fee and card › Package card, together with a bar of your active couriers and your limit. When you reach the limit and try to make another courier active (or add an active courier), the package upgrade window opens; once the upgrade is paid the courier is saved again automatically. Staff who are not the company owner see a notice that the company owner needs to upgrade. For 41 or more active couriers, use Contact us for a quote: Enterprise terms and price are agreed with you.

Monthly or yearly billing

You can pay the fee monthly or yearly. With yearly billing you pay 10 months for 12 months of use (2 months free). Prices are always shown per month: for yearly billing the yearly amount divided by 12, with a note such as "Billed yearly as 25,000 TL + VAT".

The Monthly / Yearly switch on the package card:

Upgrading the package

When your courier count grows you can move to a higher package on any day. The upgrade takes effect as soon as the payment is received: your courier limit rises immediately and the end date of your period does not change. You pay only the difference between the two packages for the remaining days of the period:

Difference = (new package's period fee − current package's period fee) × remaining days ÷ total days of the period (VAT is added for TRY).

Example: you are on Starter (2,500 TL a month), 12 days of a 30-day period are left and you move to Growth (4,500 TL). Difference = (4,500 − 2,500) × 12 ÷ 30 = 800 TL + VAT. From the next period on the Growth fee applies. With yearly billing the same calculation uses the yearly prices and the remaining days of the yearly period.

You pay the difference by card on the bank's secure payment page (3D Secure); your card details are not stored. If you have no paid period, choose the package and pay with Pay the fee instead.

Downgrading the package

When your active couriers fit the limit of a lower package you can move down. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period; no refund or credit is given for the remaining days. If at the end of the period your active couriers exceed the new package's limit, the downgrade is not applied and you stay on the current package (you are notified by e-mail).

TRY in Turkey, USD abroad

If your billing country is Turkey, the fee is paid in Turkish lira and VAT is added: the screen shows "amount + VAT (rate%) = amount charged". Companies established outside Turkey pay in USD without Turkish VAT (export of services). You choose your country when signing up; to change it, write to destek@courino.com. The currency changes from the next payment.

Agreements

When signing up you read and accept the Subscription and Service Agreement and the Data Processing Agreement: both are shown section by section in a scrollable panel, and the acceptance box is enabled only after you have scrolled to the end of both. The privacy notice is for information only and is not a consent. The time, your IP address, your browser and the agreement version are recorded.

If the agreements are updated (or no acceptance is on record for your company), the company owner sees the current text at the next sign-in and has to read and accept it to keep using the panel. Other staff are not affected.

Discounts and coupon codes

The platform may give your company a discount or send you a coupon code. Enter the code in the Coupon code field under Settings › Fee and card and press Apply (you can also enter it when signing up; it is applied once your company is opened).

Rewards: invites and LinkedIn

Settings › Rewards shows your company's own invite code and invite link.

Trial period

If you have just signed up to Courino, the fee starts after the trial period set by the platform (currently 7 days). During the trial a notice at the top of the panel says "N days left in your trial — pay the subscription fee to continue"; Go to payment brings you to this tab, and you can close the notice. You can also pay during the trial (the paid period starts at the time of payment). You receive an e-mail 2 days before the trial ends and when it ends. If no payment is made by the end of the trial, your account is made passive at 03:00 on the night after the trial ends (see "Passive account" below). The notice at the top of the panel shows the date and time.

Paying the fee (Pay the fee)

The fee is paid each period (monthly or yearly) with a card payment that you start. Your card is not stored and nothing is charged to it automatically.

  1. In the panel, open Settings › Subscription fee and card. The fee amount, the payment status and the end of the paid period are shown at the top.
  2. In Pay the fee, choose the package (one that covers your active couriers) and Monthly / Yearly billing.
  3. If you have a coupon code, type it in the Coupon code field and press Apply.
  4. Read and tick the "I accept that no refund will be made…" box (required; see below).
  5. Press Pay the fee. The bank's secure payment page (3D Secure) opens.
  6. Enter your card details and confirm with the SMS code your bank sends.
  7. You come back to this tab afterwards; the result appears within a few seconds and a receipt e-mail arrives.

You enter your card details again for every payment; neither Courino nor the payment institution stores your card for later payments. To pay by bank transfer, use the bank accounts link in the same section.

The Pay the fee button in the notice at the top of the panel and in the reminder e-mails also brings you straight to this tab.

Consent box (no refund)

The payment has a single consent box, which starts unticked:

When you give consent, the time, IP address and user are recorded.

Reminders: no stored card, no automatic charge

Courino never charges the fee to your card automatically. Instead it reminds you when payment is due:

If you turned on automatic payment in the past, the system no longer uses that card; you still pay the fee with Pay the fee. You can turn off automatic payment that is still on with Turn off automatic payment in the Saved cards box below.

Cards saved earlier

New cards cannot be saved. If you saved cards earlier, a Saved cards box appears on the right of the tab; there you can only:

  1. Delete a card: press Delete next to it and confirm. The card is also removed from the payment institution. If you have several cards, the dialog may ask you to choose one of the remaining cards; choose it and press Yes, delete.
  2. If automatic payment is still on, press Turn off automatic payment and confirm. The period you paid for stays valid.

If you have no saved card, this box does not appear at all.

Backup card consent

Backup card consent is no longer used; none of your cards is ever tried automatically. If a consent you gave earlier is still in place, withdraw it with Withdraw backup card consent in the Saved cards box. The time you withdraw it, the IP address and the user are recorded.

Overdue notice

When overdue, a reminder e-mail is sent on day 1, 3 and 5 after the end of the paid period. For companies that signed up themselves (companies the fee rules apply to), the account is made passive at 03:00 on the night after day 5; the notice at the top of the panel shows the date. For companies the rules do not apply to, being overdue never restricts any feature.

Passive account

In an account made passive because the fee was not paid:

You receive an e-mail when the account is made passive and when it is reopened.

E-mail notifications

Company owner accounts (or the company e-mail if they have none) receive e-mails in their own language. E-mails asking for payment include a button that takes you to the payment page:

Only one e-mail is sent per event.

Payment history

The Payment history table lists each fee payment with date, type (one-off, package upgrade difference, free period; older records may also show first period, period charge and card verification), period, amount and status. The reason of failed payments is shown there; older card verification payments appear as Refunded.

The platform issues an e-invoice or e-archive invoice for each successful fee payment (card verification payments are not invoiced). Invoices for USD payments (export of services) are issued separately by the platform. When the invoice is ready an Invoice (PDF) link appears next to the payment; until then it says "Invoice in preparation". Make sure your title, tax office and tax number are filled in under Settings › Notifications › Company details so the invoice is issued correctly.
