Pricing rules

How the extra district charge, night tariff, bridge fee, waiting-weight-volume fees, VAT and expected delivery time are calculated.

Rules added on top of the matrix price. Most settings are on the General card of Settings › Pricing; unit prices are in the price list.

Calculation order

  1. Region price: The matrix price for pickup → delivery region, in the payer's tier.
  2. The extra district charge is added.
  3. Multiplied by the delivery type multiplier and, at night, the night multiplier (the service fee).
  4. Waiting, weight, volume and bridge fees are added.
  5. VAT is added.

In short: (region price + extra charge) × delivery type multiplier × night multiplier + extra fees + VAT. Each item is rounded to two decimals.

Rules

Each rule has its own heading below; setting names are those on the Settings › Pricing tab.

Extra district

If Extra district (a surcharge is added to the region price) is ticked in the district window, the Surcharge (cash) or Surcharge (subscriber) amount is added. Different regions: both districts' surcharges are added; same region: only the larger one.

Night tariff

If the Night multiplier is greater than 1 and the order's planned pickup time falls within Night hours (e.g. 0,1,2,3,4,5), the service fee is multiplied by it. The hour follows your Time zone. 1 means off.

Bridge fee

If the Bridge fee is greater than 0, it is added as a fixed amount when the pickup region is in the Bridge regions list and the delivery region is not. It is one-way. If you have branches, night and bridge settings can also be set per branch: Branches.

Waiting, weight and volume

VAT

Calculated with the price list's VAT rate (%) only if VAT applies is on both on the General card and in the payer's customer type. With VAT scope set to All items, it applies to everything including extra fees; with Service only (legacy behaviour), only to the service fee.

Currency and exchange rate

Amounts are multiplied by the Exchange rate; in TRY keep it at 1.

Round trip

The courier completes the job in two legs; price changes only via the type's Price multiplier.

Manual total

A total typed by an operator is VAT-inclusive; the difference appears as an adjustment item.

Expected delivery time

If Expected delivery time is on in the General card and a time is defined for the two regions, the order shows an estimated delivery time. The time is divided by the delivery type multiplier: an express job with a multiplier of 2 has half the expected time.

Enter the times in the Expected delivery times card on the Settings › Pricing tab: the row is the pickup region and the column the delivery region; type the minutes for the standard delivery type into a cell and click Save. No expected time is shown for a cell you leave empty.

If you have several branches, pick a branch in the selector at the top of the card to enter times for that branch only (region numbers mean different places in each branch). A branch without its own times uses the Company-wide times; start from Copy company times and edit, or remove the branch's table with Revert to company times.

Caution: Changes affect only newly calculated orders; saved orders keep their price unless edited.
