Online payments

Customers paying by card, payment links, refunds, platform collection versus your own PayTR account, and monthly payouts.

Your customers can pay unpaid charges or top up their prepaid balance by card. Payments go through PayTR; card details never reach Courino. The Accounting › Online payments page shows all payments and refunds.

Turning on online payment

  1. Open the Settings › Payment and bonus tab and choose a Collection model in the Online payment section.
  2. With the platform collection option, the platform collects payments and pays you monthly, minus the PayTR fee and service commission. Enter Payout IBAN and Account holder (company name).
  3. With My own payment provider account, payments go straight to your own PayTR store.
  4. Tick I have read and accept the terms and click Request. The status becomes Requested — awaiting approval; you'll get an email once approved.
  5. If you chose your own account, after approval enter Merchant no., Merchant key and Merchant salt in the Online payment (PayTR) section. You can find them in the PayTR Merchant Panel under Support & Setup › Integration Information.
  6. Set Maximum instalments (0 = single payment), tick Online payment on, turn on Test mode if you want to test, and click Save.
  7. Enter the address shown on screen as the Notification URL in the PayTR panel.

Step by step: requesting a payment

  1. On the customer's record, click Payment link.
  2. Choose Charge payment and select unpaid orders, or choose Prepaid top-up and enter an amount.
  3. Click Create link, use Copy and send the link to the customer by SMS or email. If it expires, create a new one.

Customers can also pay from the customer portal.

Tracking payments and refunds

Payouts with platform collection

The Settings › Payment and bonus › My payouts table shows, for each month, Gross, PayTR fee, Commission, Refunds, Carry-over and Net. A refund is deducted from the payout of the month it was made. If the payout goes negative, nothing is paid and the negative amount carries over to the next month.

The platform may apply a firm-specific (permanent) commission rate or a commission discount for a limited time to your company, or remove the commission entirely. A time-limited discount returns to your previous rate on its own when it ends, and you get an info e-mail 7 days before it ends. The commission rate of each payment is fixed at payment time: a rate change only affects later payments; past payments in your payouts do not change.

Passing the commission on to the customer

With platform collection you can turn on Pass the commission and PayTR fee on to the customer for online card payments under Settings › Payment and bonus › Pass the commission on to the customer (off by default).
