Pricing basics

Regions, prices and delivery types you get at sign-up; districts and region numbers, the region map, price lists, the region-to-region price matrix, delivery types, customer types and assigning a price list to a customer.

Order prices are calculated from the districts, regions and price lists you define. Set them up in this order.

What you get when you sign up

If you signed up for Courino yourself, some definitions come ready so you can create your first order right away. You can change, delete or add to all of them under Settings › Pricing:

  1. Delivery types (every province): Normal (×1, standard), Express (×2), Normal Return (×2), Express Return (×4), Express Out Normal Return (×3), By Car (×5), Cash Transport (×5). The "Return" types are round trips. Names are created in Turkish (Normal, Ekspres, Normal Dönüşlü, Ekspres Dönüşlü, Gidiş Ekspres Dönüş Normal, Arabalı, Para Taşıma); rename them if you like.
  2. Customer type "Standart" (cash) and price list "Genel".
  3. If you chose Istanbul, 8 regions: districts and some neighbourhoods come split into the 8 regions commonly used by courier companies: 1. Şişli, Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu; 2. around Eminönü (Rüstempaşa, Hocapaşa, Mercan, Tahtakale…); 3. Kadıköy, Üsküdar; 4. the Bağdat Avenue line (Bostancı, Caddebostan, Erenköy, Göztepe, Suadiye, Kozyatağı…); 5. Fatih, Eyüpsultan; 6. Sarıyer, Kağıthane; 7. the rest of the European side (Bakırköy, Esenyurt, Başakşehir…); 8. the rest of the Asian side (Pendik, Kartal, Ümraniye, Ataşehir…).
  4. Price matrix in Istanbul: the "Genel" list comes with cash and subscriber prices for all 8 × 8 = 64 cells (e.g. 400 TL cash / 350 TL subscriber within a region, 850 TL / 750 TL from region 1 to region 8). These are sample prices; type your own and click Save.
  5. If you chose another province: districts are split into regions by distance to the province centre and the matrix is filled with sample prices sized to the number of regions (e.g. 5 × 5 for 5 regions): 250 TL within the centre, 50 TL more for each farther region; subscriber price 50 TL less. Be sure to replace them with your own prices.
  6. Expected delivery times: a time is ready for every region pair (210–240 minutes in Istanbul). To show them on orders, tick Expected delivery time in the General card and save; it is off at first.

Step by step

  1. Open the Settings › Pricing tab.
  2. On the Districts card, click Add and enter the district's Name and Region no. Add from ready list adds your province's districts in one go. If your areas are smaller than districts, choose As neighbourhoods / villages in the same window to add a district's neighbourhoods and villages (TurkStat 2025 list).
  3. On the Delivery types card, define types such as Normal or Express and each one's Price multiplier.
  4. On the Customer types card, add your types; each type's Price tier is either Cash or Subscriber.
  5. On the Price lists card, create at least one list (the VAT rate and extra fees are set here).
  6. On the Price matrix card, pick the list, switch tiers with the Cash and Subscriber buttons, type the region-to-region prices and click Save.
  7. On the Customers page, open the customer, choose a Customer type and a Price list, and save.

Region map

Click Map on the Districts card to see your province's districts coloured by region number, with the region number written inside each district. The map opens on the selected branch's province (otherwise the default branch's, or else the province most of your areas are in); pick another province from the list above it.

  1. Click a district on the map; your areas in that district are listed on the right.
  2. Type the new region no. next to an area. To change all areas of the district at once, type the number in All areas of the district and press Enter.
  3. Changes are not saved immediately; the number of changed areas is shown at the top. Save stores them all together, Cancel discards them.
  4. Suggest by distance puts districts close to the province centre into region 1 and farther ones into the next regions (at most 6). The suggestion is only shown on screen; click Save if you like it.

Colours: each region has its own colour. A dashed grey district has areas in different regions (for example areas added as neighbourhoods); it shows something like "1/2". A light grey district is not among your areas; click it and use Add from ready list.

Customer types

The customer type decides which matrix price a customer pays and how. On the Settings › Pricing › Customer types card you enter for each type:

You choose the type in the Customer type field of the customer's record. Pricing always uses the type of the party who pays for the order.

Price matrix

On the Price matrix card, pick a price list and switch tiers with the Cash and Subscriber buttons. The row is the pickup region and the column is the delivery region; for example, cell 1 → 3 is the price of a job picked up in region 1 and delivered to region 3. A cell left empty or set to 0 is undefined: no order can be opened between those two regions ("no price"). Press Save after changes; the price of saved orders does not change.

Good to know

Tip: Keep the number of regions small. 10 regions already mean 100 cells.
