Getting started
First sign-in to the company panel, forgotten password, Google sign-in, first password change, the setup checklist, quick help and searching, filtering, sorting and sharing links in lists.
This article explains how to sign in to the company panel for the first time and what to prepare before you start taking orders.
Signing in
- Open the company panel address. The sign-in card shows the company panel heading.
- Fill in Email and Password, then press Sign in.
- If your account comes from the legacy system, press Sign in with company code and username at the bottom and sign in with Company code, Username and Password. Press Sign in with email to switch back.
- If you have accounts with the same details in more than one company, the panel lists them; choose the company you want.
Forgot password
- On the sign-in card, press Forgot password?.
- Enter your email (or, for the legacy sign-in, your company code and username) and press Send link.
- A password reset link is sent to your registered email, or to your mobile phone if there is no email. Open it within 30 minutes and set a new password with Save password.
Sign in with Google
If a Google button appears on the sign-in card and you have linked your Google account, you can sign in without typing a password. To link it, sign in, open Change password from the profile menu at the top right and use the button in the Sign in with Google card.
First password change
For accounts migrated from the legacy system, or if you were given a temporary password, the Change password screen opens at first sign-in. Fill in Current password, New password and New password (again), then press Save. The new password must be at least 10 characters and must not contain your username.
- If you signed in with a temporary password, you must change your password first. Until you do, the other panel screens do not open and live updates do not start.
- On this screen you can only Sign out. Once the password is changed, the panel opens by itself.
- When the password changes, your sessions on other devices are signed out; you stay signed in on this device.
- API keys belonging to your account are also revoked. The screen shows how many keys were revoked. If an integration uses these keys, create a new key and enter it in the integration.
Phone and email verification
To show that your account belongs to you, you verify your mobile phone by SMS code and your email by a code sent by email.
- Open Phone and email from the profile menu at the top right (in the mobile app, Me › My contact details).
- On an unverified row, press Verify and Send code; enter the 6-digit code and press Verify.
- If verification is mandatory, a verification screen opens instead of the panel until it is done.
- A number or email can be used by one company only. With a foreign number, verifying the email is enough.
- Details: Phone and email verification.
Phone verification at company signup
If you enter a Mobile phone when signing up a new company and it is a Turkish number, an SMS code is requested.
- Type the number and press Verify phone: send code.
- Type the 6-digit code into the SMS verification code box; then press Next: agreements.
- If the code does not arrive, press Send a new code after 60 seconds. The code is valid for 10 minutes.
- No code is sent to a foreign number; the verification link sent to your email is enough.
- If This number is registered with another company appears, the number is used by another company. If your company already exists, sign in; for another province, add a branch to your existing company.
Setup checklist
- Company details and settings: In the General card of Settings › Pricing, set general options such as working hours, currency and VAT; fill in Company details under Settings › Notifications.
- Districts and prices: If you chose your province at sign-up, districts, regions, a sample price matrix and delivery types come ready; replace the sample prices with your own. Otherwise define districts, price lists and the price matrix. Details: Pricing basics.
- Adding couriers: Adding couriers
- Adding customers: Adding customers
- Staff: Add your operators and accounting staff. Details: Users and permissions.
- First order: Create a test order and check its price. Details: Creating an order.
Quick help search
Every screen has a round ? button in the bottom-right corner. It lets you find what you need without leaving the screen.
- Click ?; a small search box opens.
- Type what you are looking for (e.g. cancel, price, courier).
- Matching headings from the help articles are listed as links. Click one; the article opens in a new tab at that heading with your words highlighted. Your open form is not lost.
- To close, click the button again (now ×), click outside the box or press Esc.
- If the whole word finds nothing, the start of the word is searched instead.
- For all results, use Open in help center at the bottom of the box.
- While the box is empty, the article for the page you are on and its first headings are shown as Tips for this page.
- If nothing is found, a typo or an everyday word is corrected and you are asked Did you mean? (for a word with a missing, extra or swapped letter it suggests the right spelling; for an everyday word it suggests the term the help articles use). Click the suggested word to search for it.
- The search box in the help centre does the same: if nothing is found, Did you mean? appears at the top and the results for the suggested word are shown.
- If there are still no results, an Open a support ticket button appears and opens the support ticket form with your search as the subject. The button is shown only to users allowed to open support tickets; others can ask their company admin.
- In the mobile app (staff sign-in), the headset icon at the top of the Home, Orders, Map, Couriers and Customers screens, or Me › Help, opens the same search, with the screen tips and the Did you mean? suggestion. If nothing is found and you may open support tickets, Open a support ticket opens the form in the panel in your browser.
- Questions with no results are saved anonymously to improve the help articles: who asked, the company and the IP are not stored, and questions containing a phone number or e-mail are never saved.
- Send feedback: use Send feedback at the bottom right of the box to send Courino 1–5 stars and, if you like, a short note; it goes straight to the Courino team. Feedback may not get a reply; open a support ticket if you need one. Up to 5 per day; not shown in a support session.
Searching, filtering and sorting lists
Orders, Customers, Couriers, Users, Charges, Prepaid balances, Invoices, Online payments, the notification log, the change log, Leaves, Courier applications, Courier documents, Vehicle maintenance, Customer requests and the rating lists all work the same way:
- Type part of what you are looking for in Search (a name, code, phone, email, note and so on; the grey text in the box tells you what that list searches). Case does not matter. The list refreshes by itself when you stop typing.
- Where the list has them, pick status, branch, date range or amount range (Min ₺ / Max ₺) filters. A date range includes the end day.
- To sort, click a column name marked ↕ in the table header. On the sorted column ▲ means ascending and ▼ descending; clicking the same heading again reverses the order.
- To remove the filters, click Clear filters (n); the number is how many filters are active.
- To show the same view to a colleague, click Copy link and send the link. The filters, sorting and page number are kept in the link. Once copied, the button briefly shows Copied.
Good to know
- The view is kept in the page address: the browser's back button returns to the previous view, and you can bookmark the page.
- The person who opens the link only sees the records their own permissions allow; a branch account cannot see another branch's records.
- When a filter changes, the list goes back to the first page.
- For the filters specific to orders, see Order list.
Notifications in the mobile app
If you signed in to the Courino mobile app with a staff account, your phone gets notifications for events such as an order awaiting approval or a new customer sign-up.
- Tap the bell icon at the top of the Summary screen or Me › My notifications. The number on the bell is your unread notifications (more than 9 shows 9+).
- Notifications from the last 30 days (at most 100) are listed newest first; unread ones carry a New label.
- Tapping a notification opens the related screen: an order notification opens the order details, a customer sign-up notification opens the Customers screen.
- Read status is kept on your phone. You choose which events notify you in Me › Notifications.
- All SMS, emails and notifications your company sends are on the Notification log page of the panel.
Having trouble?
- "You can't sign in here with this account" warning: Courier and customer accounts don't use the company panel. Use the link in the warning.
- The reset link didn't arrive: Ask an administrator in your company to reset your password from the Users page.
- No Google button: Google sign-in is not enabled on this installation; sign in with email and password.
- Sign-up says "A company is already registered with this email address": To prevent the same company from being opened twice by mistake, no new company is opened when the sign-up email or mobile phone is already registered with a company (a staff account or the company details). Sign in or use Forgot password; companies migrated from the old system may have no email on the administrator account, so sign in with the company code and username or contact support. For a second, separate company for the same owner, contact support; it is opened after your identity is confirmed.
- Sign-up says "A company with a very similar name is already registered": If you are sure it is a separate company, continue with Yes, open a new company; if your company is already registered, sign in.
